Almazan Law Welcomes Scott Ross as Newest Partner and Construction Defect Practice Director

We’re proud to announce that Scott Ross has officially been named Partner and Director of our Construction Defect Practice at Almazan Law.

With more than 20 years of litigation experience, Scott has become a respected authority across the construction, healthcare, and commercial liability industries. Since joining our firm, Scott has played a pivotal role in expanding our construction defect capabilities and delivering strategic, client-focused legal solutions in both Tampa and South Florida.

In his new role, Scott leads the firm’s construction defect practice, representing developers, contractors, design professionals, and insurers in high-exposure claims. His career includes numerous legal publications, statewide speaking engagements, and leadership on topics such as arbitration, risk management, and electronic medical records.

Scott holds a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and degrees from the University of Louisville. He is also an active contributor to his community through organizations like Feeding Tampa Bay, Goodwill Industries, and the Catholic Lawyers Guild.
