Blane Wheeley is an attorney in the Firm’s Tampa office who focuses his practice on workers’ compensation. He has been practicing law as a workers’ compensation attorney since 2015 having previously worked for two large insurance defense firms representing Employers, Servicing Agents, Carriers and Municipalities with successful trial victories in multiple jurisdictions throughout the State of Florida. He has also represented injured workers which provides a unique foundation to his practice as he knows how each side approaches workers' compensation claims.

Academic & Personal Background

Blane earned his B.A. in Criminology from the University of Florida where he graduated cum laude. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern School of Law where he was a member of the Dean’s List and Nova Trial Association while receiving Pro Bono Honors.

In his free time, Blane enjoys spending time with his wife, Amrita and their two daughters.

Blane began his career as an Attorney for the Office of the Public Defender, 13th Judicial Circuit where he handled a diverse caseload while providing clients with legal representation throughout all phases of a case including multiple jury trials.
