Brooke joined as Of Counsel to the firm in the summer of 2021. Brooke is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received her JD from Georgia State University in 2002. Since 2006, Brooke has operated as a solo practitioner providing pre-litigation, first-party insurance appraisal services on behalf of residential property owners and businesses along with corporate transactional work for domestic and international corporations. Brooke provides corporate legal services to international private and government entities for financing social and civic development projects in the Middle East, North Africa, the Caribbean, and South America and works with international developers to invest in infrastructure projects throughout Africa. Brooke’s practice and experience living abroad for twelve years in Northern Africa and the Caribbean bring a wealth of financial and corporate perspectives to her clients and that of the firm.

Brooke is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received her JD from Georgia State University in 2002. Since 2006, Brooke has operated as a solo practitioner providing pre-litigation, first party insurance services on behalf of residential property owners and businesses. She works with our litigation team to pursue bad faith and breach of contract claims in state court.

Experience

Fueled by her passion for travel, Brooke lived abroad in the Caribbean and in Tunisia, North Africa during much of her practice, where she developed a wide network of international relationships. During her twelve years overseas, she participated in developing projects in the energy sector in West Africa and Colombia, public-private partnerships for infrastructure project development in West and North Africa, BOT project development, mining concessions and the commodities trade, including the global PPE commodities trade as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brooke brings firsthand regional knowledge to our international corporate team and an excitement to work with our clients in structuring and developing their projects.
