Megan L. Griffith

Megan L. Griffith is a Senior Attorney at Almazan Law, based in the firm’s Tampa office, where she represents clients in high-stakes litigation and advisory matters involving First Party Property claims, Construction Defect disputes, General Liability defense, and General Counsel services. With over a decade of legal experience, Megan is known for her tenacity, precision, and client-first approach.

Recognized as a 2024 Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star in Insurance Defense and honored as a Top Tampa Attorney by Tampa Style Magazine for both Insurance Defense and General Counsel excellence, Megan’s reputation for delivering results is backed by a strong courtroom presence and strategic insight.

Megan earned her B.A. in Criminology cum laude from the University of Florida in 2011 and received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. During law school, she was awarded the Outstanding Oral Argument Award and served as a Law School Ambassador from 2012 to 2014.

She is admitted to practice in Florida, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Outside the courtroom, Megan is a dedicated executive fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she has been actively involved since 2016. Her philanthropic leadership supports research, financial aid, and advocacy for families impacted by blood cancers.

Personally, Megan is an avid runner, lifelong reader, and proud Florida Gators enthusiast.
