Hunter Daniel is an associate attorney with the litigation department based in our Tampa office. His practice focuses on civil litigation including personal injury, construction defects, premise liability, automobile negligence, and insurance defense. Prior to joining Almazan, Hunter has worked as an associate at a boutique personal injury law firm and an insurance defense law firm, securing favorable settlements for many clients and a favorable verdict in a premise liability trial. Hunter worked at the State Attorney’s Office of the 13th Judicial Circuit both summers while in law school. His first summer was in the misdemeanor division, mainly working on traffic cases. The second summer, Hunter completed a Certified Legal Internship (CLI) in the domestic violence division where he tried and won his first jury trial, cementing his interest in litigation.

Academic Background

Hunter grew up in south Tampa and graduated from H.B. Plant High School. He is a double gator, graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics and two minors—Agricultural Law and Management and Sales in Agribusiness–and his Juris Doctor. He earned the two highest awards for public service at UF Levin College of Law, the Pro Bono Certificate of Outstanding Achievement, and the Community Service Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. In his free time, Hunter enjoys hunting, fishing, and scuba diving.
