Blending Experience & Efficiency in Florida Litigation
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage FAQs
Q: Why is the firm using artificial intelligence (AI)?
A: AI helps our legal team work more efficiently and accurately by automating routine tasks, assisting in research, and organizing case information. All work is attorney-supervised, and AI never replaces human judgment.
Q: Will my case information be safe?
A: Yes. All client data handled by AI systems is encrypted and protected. Our firm only uses vendors that meet strict security standards, and your information will never be shared with or used to train public AI systems.
Q: Can I refuse to have AI tools used in my matter?
A: Absolutely. You have the right to opt out of AI-assisted processes if you have concerns. We’ll explain if this might affect timelines or workflow, and will fully discuss your alternatives.
Q: Who reviews the work done by AI?
A: All AI-assisted work is reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney before any action is taken or information is shared externally.
Q: Will this change my fees?
A: Routine use of AI does not result in additional fees. Any special data security charges will be disclosed up front.
Q: Who can I contact with questions?
A: Your client manager or attorney is available by phone or email to answer any concerns about the AI disclosure or your options.
Q: Will this affect how I communicate or work with my attorney?
A: No. Your relationship with your attorney and the quality of service you receive will remain unchanged, except that your case may benefit from improved efficiency.
