Almazan, Esq., Managing Partner and Founder, has been elected to serve as a member of the University of Florida Law Center Association (LCA) Board of Trustees. His five-year term begins July 1, 2026 and concludes on June 30, 2031.

The LCA Board of Trustees is the primary financial support and advisory board for the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law — one of the top public law schools in the United States. The board advises the Dean and her administration, supports the college's academic and strategic priorities, and leads philanthropic and development efforts on behalf of the Levin College of Law.

A Florida Attorney Returns to His Alma Mater

Alexander P. Almazan is a University of Florida alumnus and a first-generation Cuban American attorney who has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1999. He founded Almazan Law with a single office in Coral Gables and built it into a statewide litigation and defense firm with offices in Miami, Tampa, and West Palm Beach — serving national insurance carriers, Fortune 500 companies, and real estate stakeholders across Florida.

His election to the LCA Board represents a return to the institution that trained him — now in a leadership role supporting the next generation of Florida attorneys.
